Idaho Falls

We took a quick trip to Idaho Falls to see Abbie get baptized and hang out with family this past weekend.

 Spencer was so excited to see Dallin.

 Can you tell that Spencer is addicted to mints?  He had 3 or 4 in his mouth at once.  Quick funny story.  Spencer loves the cafe rio mints and eats them without any problems.  Jean on the other hand, frequently thinks that they are too hot. 

 Now that we have Isabella, I did not have an all inclusive, good family photo of us.  So I attempted many times this weekend to get a good one, and this is one of our best efforts.

It was Cherilyn's birthday so we had to celebrate with cake.  Nevermind that Cherilyn is in Pennsylvania on her mission!  =)  We enjoyed it for her!

She was so patient with my impromptu photo shoot in the car today, I got a lot of cute pics, but these are my favorite!

Air show and lazy day

We went to the air show early this morning and had a good time minus freezing to death!  I knew that it was going to be overcast with a chance of rain, but hello wind!  Anyway, grossly under prepared for the elements!  Needless to say, we didn't stay the whole day but got some fun.  We left just in time as it started raining fairly hard once we got in the car.  Hopefully next year has better weather!

 We had to compensate for not sleeping in, and all took pretty good naps!  Spencer wasn't too happy to wake up for me, but was excited to get to "play" with Isabella and hold her!

Funnies to remember

Spencer asked if he could play in our backyard or what is more commonly known as our 3rd floor balcony.  

While he plays on our balcony, he yells hi down to anyone that walks by below and tries to strike up a conversation with them.

If Spencer is in the other room and suspiciously quiet, I will sometimes ask him what he is doing and if he doesn't want me to know what he is doing, he will say, "anything!"  

On his bike while going backwards he says, " I am driving backwards like Mater."

The other day he told me that he is having a "hard day" and when I asked if I could do something to help he responded, "No, it is just a hard day!"

Spencer asked a couple weeks ago when we were going back to the doctor to have Isabella put back in my belly.  He said that he liked her better there.  

What would we do without his entertainment?

So a friend was asking me if I had looked at pics of Spencer when he as a newborn to see if he and Isabella looked alike.  So her is Spencer at three weeks...

New house progress

So this week we got a foundation!!  Yay!!

 And this is a preview of what the finished product is going to be similar to.  Our house will actually look a lot like this one.

Can't wait until the end of July/early August!  

Easter pics a little late

 We had a fun Easter overall, even with its ups and downs.  Spencer had fun finding eggs in the park with the neighborhood. I just had to post these pics of him as I think he is so cute in them.  And my mom made these cute treats.  yum!!

 And this is me in all my 39 week glory.  This was taken shortly before Isabella was born.

Things to remember

 Isabella at one week old can almost roll over.  What??  Yep, she is one squirmy child.  She gets on her sides and if her arms didn't get in the way, she would end up on her belly.  She also scoots like no other.  In a few minutes she can go from parallel in her crib to perpendicular.  To think I used to lay Spencer on the bathroom counter to take showers etc...there is no way I can do that with Isabella!  

The other day Spencer goes up to my Mom and asks if she can help him put money in his bank.  She looks and he has a five dollar bill, so she gets curious as to where he got it.  He proudly announced that he got it out of daddy's wallet!  He was much more disappointed when Daddy wasn't thrilled about his find and made him give it back!  =)  Spencer was also recently found to be in possession of Jean's wedding ring.  Watch out for my little klepto!
