put a sock in it...
Funny little guy is always shoving his socks in his mouth, clean or dirty...he also loves to pull his socks off his feet and thinks it is so hilarious!

Homemade walker
A few weeks ago Spencer discovered that he could be proactive when it comes to walking and take himself walking rather than wait for us to grab his hands to cruise around.
And PS, I am in shock that he is 9 months old already!!! (and still toothless...do they make baby dentures?)

updates...
And he has been perfecting the art of crawling for a little while now. I would put more videos up, but they take too long to download...

Only in Park City...
So I began my training today at Park City Medical Center. (I am going to be the social worker there and for homecare still as well.) Anyway, for those of you who don't know, Park City, Utah has a....unique culture. A rich culture. PCMC is a beautiful facility and let me tell you about some of the things that makes it a unique hospital, perfect for Park City.
- Patients are no longer called "patients"; they are now "guests"; "guest services", "guest surgery", etc.
- There is a separate entrance and elevator for high profile people (we go above and beyond when it comes to HIPAA).
- The "chef" was Bill Gates' personal chef for years and more recently was head chef at a resort in Park City until he was recruited by PCMC.
- Guests no longer have the typical cafeteria food brought to their rooms at set times of the day with no/little flexibility; guests will order room service from a menu anytime of the day.
- PCMC has three fireplaces and honestly, looks like a fancy hotel. The walls are stonework from Brown's Canyon near Park City
- There is a meditation room, stocked with literature from all major religions.
Should I go on, or do you get the picture? It is going to be interesting to work there, but more importantly, a great opportunity!

Don't mind the drool...
This is what he looks like when he loses his balance. But no worries, he quickly recovered and there were no falls.

Las Vegas!
Of course, we went to the Bellagio and had a lot of fun showing the water show to Spencer. I wished we had captured his face when the show first started...it was hilarious! His eyes opened really big and his jaw dropped!
Viva Las Vegas!!! Or as my Dad says, Viva Lost Wages!! Thanks to my parents and brother Spencer for a great weekend!!!

Check out that bald spot...
Mom, this is the little polar bear you bought him that he likes to hug and kiss (well, chew on). It is cute when he tucks it under his arm or takes naps with it, as you can see. Big hit, thanks!
I told you he has got quite the bald spot. It has proven to be quite the conversation starter with random strangers.
Lastly, he is closer to learning how to breathe in wind/gusts of air than he is to rolling over...work in progress! =)
